Japanese Sabrina's Gengar No. 094 | Challenge from the Darkness (1999) | Super Proxy

The forbidden ghost. Reimagined.

Straight from Japan's legendary 1999 Challenge from the Darkness expansion, Sabrina's Gengar is one of the most mysterious and sought-after Japanese Pokémon card designs of the vintage era.

Featuring the mischievous Ghost-type Pokémon emerging from a haunting graveyard scene, this super proxy captures the eerie purple tones, sinister grin, and mesmerizing holographic-inspired artwork that made the original a collector's grail.

What makes this particular design so special is its original Japanese-exclusive graveyard artwork, featuring tombstones and crosses that were removed from the English release. This distinctive artwork has made Sabrina's Gengar an unforgettable piece of Pokémon collecting history.

With its classic yellow borders, vintage Japanese typography, iconic Gym Leader Sabrina connection, and signature Pain Amplifier and Call of the Night attacks, this card represents the darker, more mysterious side of Pokémon's golden era.

Whether you're building your ultimate Gengar collection, exploring legendary Japanese-exclusive artwork, or showcasing one of the most recognizable Ghost-type Pokémon ever created, this is one legendary grail that deserves centre stage.
